Re: Sol Cubano Cuban Cabinet No. 1
Fernandez is supposedly a pupil/protege of Alejandro Robaina. ;)
He makes the SCCC, Padilla Habano, I believe 1 cigar for Gurkha, La Herencia Cubana, Man O' War, and a few others.

Re: Sol Cubano Cuban Cabinet No. 1
Thanks for the review...and the reminder that I'm out of these. I like this line of cigars -- especially at c-bid prices!
To me they have a VERY floral flavor and aroma.

Re: Dealing with Smoking Nazis
If it's a woman doing the complaining, tell her that the smell of her perfume bothers you, and that you will gladly extinguish your cigar if she will go wash off her perfume.

Sounds like an interesting smoke.
Did you listen to the song "Brick House" while smoking it? :D

Cain Maduro vs. La Floridita Maduro
Fired up a Cain maduro robusto and immediately found it lacking. I wondered if it was just my tastebuds, so I figured why not fire up a La Floridita maduro and smoke them side by side.
Nope, my...

Re: Cain vs Cain
Smoked a Habano wrap the other day and was not impressed. :(
I too was expecting a slap in the face, full flavored cigar. Not very "strong" at all and it was really one-dimensional until about...

I've said it 1,000 times and I will say it 1,000 more times:
Probably my favorite NC, and one of my favorite cigars period.

Re: Chateau Real Cristales Deluxe
I like the Cristales more than the Noble Habana, BUT only because of size. 54 ring gauge is too fat for me.
I say fire one up. :tu I know it's hard to pop the cherry of the full box, but just...

Chateau Real Cristales Deluxe
Size: 5.2" X 50
What a great smoke. I LOVE mild Connecticut wrap cigars, and this one never disappoints. Mild, but tons of flavor, and quite a wide spectrum of flavors for a mild cigar. I get...

Cubao #6
Other than fighting the burn the whole time, this is a really great smoke. Similar to the DPG Blue but a little less "oomph". Nice depth to the flavor, amazing aroma.
I dryboxed it for a day, I...

Too many bad experiences, especially when comparing the dress box version to the cab version of the "same" cigar. Best examples from my experience are RASS, RyJ Exhibicion #4 and ERDM Choix Supreme....

I don't like Oliva Vs or V maduros.
Fuente Hemis taste like dirt.
Fuente Green labels taste like sour dirt.
I wouldn't buy Opus X if they were $5/stick.
I have yet to smoke a Padron that...
