Could you be more specific with respect to the issue you had with an oasis? Did you experience the unit turning on all the time for only a few seconds at a time?

I haven't tried any masking tape yet. I will keep an eye on this for a couple weeks and see if things improve, as I've only had shilala's beads for a week for two. Maybe they will keep the levels...
