Re: The Bourbon Thread!!

So I bought a cheap bottle of Evan Williams to spritz the ham I cooked on Christmas.

Way tastier than That Jack Daniels crap. And half the price.

I wouldn't drink it neat, but I have Eagle Rare...

Re: Back in 2005!

Can't ask for a better present than kids like that. Sounds like a great bond. Kids are precious. :tu

Re: Back in 2005!

Good to hear you're still on the right side of the grass, Mack. Take it easy and listen to the doc. They do have some good advice sometimes. :tu

Re: Sweetest - Spiciest - Earthiest Cigar?

Spiciest- probably something tatuaje. MOW puro authentico rates up there too. DPG always brings the pepper as well.

Haven't really had a "spicy" Cuban cigar.

Re: Sweetest - Spiciest - Earthiest Cigar?

Sweetest CC I've smoked is probably the caramel-honey awesomeness of a PLPC that is on.

Sweetest NC I've smoked is the cinnamon sugar awesomeness of a Viaje Skull n Bones OR Mystery after a year...

Re: Dating a co-worker

Re: Hydrating Tobacco

I just use a chunk of bread. Stole that idea from the cookie jar (adding a slice of bread to the cookie jar keeps the cookies from drying out).

It's worked every time for me. Though I use about...

Re: Two years ago today ...

Congratulations, Adam! :tu

I quit about 7 years ago. Right after my first son was born. I didn't like smelling like cigarettes when I held him, so I quit then and there.

Re: What's your preference?

Old Ironsides, Frog Morton, Scottish Cake all see smoke time regularly for me.

The older blend of anniversary kake was really good too.

Even my headlamps are Fenix. Good stuff. I've never had an issue after using them, so I stick with something I can trust. :tu

Re: Tactical Flashlights?

I use a Fenix TK11. Can't remember what I paid for it, but it's my workhorse. When I bought it, it was very popular with paramedics. It replaced my Maglite at home for emergency lighting too. And...

Re: Smoked prime rib?

My mainstays for prime rib include kosher salt, black pepper, thyme, marjoram, sage, and rosemary. I normally am conservative with the herbs. I like the flavor of that cut, so I try not to overpower...

I have no idea if that could be the...

Thanks, and great idea. I didn't even take a look at the other stuff in the picture. That white thing on the ground is a natural hide drum one of my buddies brought back from Africa years ago.

One of those days.

Ever have one of those days where everything goes right (for the most part)?

After a bunch of not so stellar days in a row, this one makes up for it.

First, I finally got my entire sales...
