Re: First Firearm Thread.

I just ordered one tonight in 9mm. I hadn't been able to find one to shoot, but rented a S&W 9 compact and liked it enough to buy the Shield as my new carry gun after reading a lot about it. I also...

Re: Homebrewers - Whats in the fermenter?

I've got 5 gallons of an English bitter in the fermenter. Should be in the keg already but I've been lazy. Hopefully it'll be on the gas this weekend.

Re: Unexpected spur for the economy and job growth...

I ordered 250 rounds from sportsmans guide friday, so it's around, but you need to be quick. It was sold out in about 15 minutes.

Re: Santa Gives Up Smoking

Good for her. She paid for it herself, is promoting it herself, and it really doesn't affect my life at all. There's no way I'd buy it, and the original version is still the "original," but I've got...

Re: If you like winter

I second that.

I just finished changing the oil in my snowblower so I figure we won't be getting any snow here all winter.

Re: What beers are you enjoying II?

On a whim my wife picked up a bottle of chocolate oak aged yeti from Great Divide Brewing for me. Very chocolaty! I've only had the regular Yeti, but I'm liking this one.

Re: What's in your smoker?

I picked up two, whole, boneless pork loins on a good sale this week. I cut the ends into large roasts and the centers into thick chops.

I've got one of the roasts in a brine now and plan to smoke...

Re: My new smoker!!!

My Weber Performer off craigs list has been awesome for this too. Pork butts, ribs, brisket, wings, whatever ... I'd like to get a Weber Smokey Mountain just for the extra space, but I'm cheap. :D

Re: What beers are you enjoying II?

Ha! Reminds me of high school.

I'm working through some homebrew these days - a keg of an Amarillo dry-hopped IPA and a basic German heffeweizen.

Hoping for a quick ferment and then into the keg (and...
