It's a flavor profile that seems to have gone out of style but I enjoy them as well. I prefer the reserva or veijo lines but at 1-2$ a stick depending on where you get them a great budget smoke.

La Unica Cameroon #1 Torpedo. MMMMMMM love em. Perdomo Reserve Cameroon are nice as well. I find the Fuente Hemingway line to have a charred aftertaste.

I use a vintage Armand Trosser hand grinder almost every day and I love it. Get a nice even burr grind and if you are only doing a French press or two it really isn't much work.
