Egg is used for moisture to keep the burgers from drying out on the grill. It really only needs to be used on leaner blends of meat, an 80-20 doesn't need egg at all.

I'm really amazed that A Clash of Kings is actually better than A Game of Thrones book wise!
I'm having a hard time not reading it during the day at work, sneaking a page now and then on my iphone...

There's tons of stuff yet to happen. This series is following the book sometimes as close as line by line. Martin does lots of stage setting for future events, it'll have pay off episodes and set up...

The detail of the books is astoundingly vivid and rich!
