Re: Sticky cigars

Round brown sticky spots? Wouldn't the oils come out sort of uniformly and make kind of a sheen on the cigar?

Re: Going to give pipes a try.

ToH has a decent selection of pipe tobacco, might be better than Walgreens anyway.

Re: Boycotting the NFL in 2012

Who said anything about them not cheating? College football is just 100000000 times more fun to watch. Well, except for the latest BCS championship, I'm a born and raised Alabama fan, and I'm glad...

Re: Boycotting the NFL in 2012

QFT, I haven't been able to muster up enough interest to watch the NFL in years.

Re: Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar...

I hear ya, I've occasionally rolled my eyes and passed over a cigar because of the name or packaging. Swag, MUWAT, and Zulu Zulu are three that I have avoided off the top of my head. I ended up...

Re: CC's or NC's?

No need to get so worked up... If you think it isn't shady in any way to ship a product to a place where it is illegal, then I respect your opinion. I don't understand it, but I respect it.

Re: Facebook Profile - Timeline yes or no?

Facebook is always careful to make whatever they roll out user friendly. The timeline is pretty easy to use and read, it has an actual timeline in the center of the screen and your updates branch...

Re: Facebook Profile - Timeline yes or no?

No, the timeline is clunky, cluttered and ugly, Facebook is beginning to resemble Myspace. If you have the option not to use it, don't. My opinion, of course.

Re: CC's or NC's?

Shady simply means under the table, below board. You don't have to sell drugs on a street corner to be shady. You don't have to be dishonest either. In my opinion shipping product to a place where...

Re: CC's or NC's?

A company that would knowingly ship a product somewhere that it is illegal to buy, sell or even have is automatically shady IMO. Also the fact that I can get CCs for about as much as premium NCs...

Re: CC's or NC's?

I've never smoked a CC, but to justify breaking the law, dealing with shady sources, worrying about my shipment getting intercepted, possibility of being sent fakes, and apparently reclipping,...

Re: Goin Cheap

I think I'm going to try putting some away. I've noticed these cheapies seem to be hit or miss. 2 of those Don Lino were amazing and 2 of them were really rough, like 40 grit sandpaper, and had...

Re: Cigar Smoking Technique

It is possible that your cigars are dry or you are smoking too fast. Slow it down a bit, swish the smoke in your mouth, then retrohale.

Re: Sometimes, it's a long time

I smoke fast sometimes if I'm not paying attention and purposely trying to slow it down. I guess for the same reason at a restaurant the waitress has to refill my glass 50 times and I always need to...

Re: Double Happiness...

The stick lasted 6 episodes if himym on Netflix, so 2ish hours, but it had a good 30-45 minutes left in it. I put it down because the slightly tight draw was giving me a migraine after 2 hours.

Re: Is it me?

It could be that a lot of the hyped up sticks are really very similar. Full bodied, pepper, cocoa, coffee, enough nicotine to kill a person. So if you don't like one you are unlikely to like the...

Re: Will you overlook construction quality for taste?

I can overlook anything except a tight draw, since that tends to trigger a migraine in me. If you can get a good deal on smokes you enjoy I say go for it.

Re: Double Happiness...

Well that's an option, I read up on it and apparently it's not just 2 cigars stuck together with a bit of wrapper leaf, I would't feel right chopping it in half. Deciding which end to light was a...

Double Happiness...

So I am smoking the 5 Vegas "AAA" version of this goofy gimmicky double cigar thing. I must say I am pleasantly surprised, it tastes like a cigar. Lots of leather and cocoa, plus some sort of spicy...
