Plasencia Reserva Original pyramid

This is the re-designed (and re-blended?) release of the Reserva Organica, allegedly the first organic cigar. I was a big fan of both the lines (Organica and 2001 Edicion Limitada). So much so that...

Casa Fernandez Miami Reserva robusto

I have really been liking this company over the past year or so. First time trying this particular line.

Nice looking cigar. Not the prettiest wrapper, but perfectly constructed. The bunch in...

Omar Ortez Original maduro torpedo

I used to smoke the sh!t out of Omar Ortez Originals natural torpedoes. They came in these cool bigass boxes of 60 and were fantastic smokes. I would score those boxes of 60 on C-bid for like $150...

San Lotano Requiem Connecticut toro

The original San Lotano lines are some great smokes, so when I saw this tweaked new line I had to grab one and check it out.

Just a touch milder than the original San Lotano Connecticut. Same...

Famous Nic 3000 - still got it...kinda.

I bought a metric sh1t ton of these (4 bundles IIRC) about 10 years ago, and to my horror I discovered that I am down to just a handful left. So I grabbed a bundle of torps off the Famous auction...

Re: My Uzi Weighs a Ton +11

Apparently I had one of these left after all this time. It will be interesting to smoke this thing.

Looking back at my initial review. The coconut flavor I described is gone. The dominant...

Warped Futuro Seleccion 109

Never tried anything from this company, so I snagged a couple of singles on C-Bid. These are called a toro, but the head is tapered so I would consider it a belicoso. Nice looking wrapper. The...

Re: Famous Nicaragua Robusto

I remember those! I liked them quite a bit but people weren't really buying them, so they weren't out for very long.

Re: Casa Fernandez Aganorsa Leaf toro

Yep! Can't cut them with a cheap cutter. And removing the bands is a delicate surgery.

Re: The Wine Thread

Heyyyyyyyyy folks.

So growing up, I always thought wine was that stuff in a big jug for $5.99. Wasn't a fan. But I moved to the middle of Wine Country, CA about 3 yrs ago, and after going...

HAHAHAHA this is one of the weirdest threads I've read on CA in a long time!

Cigar Bundles of Miami Habano blend lancero

Another recent buy from the excellent CBOM. At $100 for a bundle of 25, these are a great value.

Ever win a couple of single cigars or a single 5-pack and you feel like paying the full shipping amount is a ripoff, so you blind bid on something you've never heard of but seems like it might...

Re: Plasencia Reserva Organica Limited Edition 2001 Torpedo

Those are the regular Reserva Organica line. The EL 2001 were a one-batch release. The regular ones are great too, but these were special.

Re: Plasencia Reserva Organica Limited Edition 2001 Torpedo

Oliva Serie V Melanio torpedo

I'm not a fan of the Oliva V. But the ratings of the Melanio have been so high that I decided to grab a couple and try them out.

Nice looking cigar. Veiny but evenly colored wrapper. Good draw....
