Rattray's is cheaper here:

As far as the JRs equation goes, if you have a store near you or you come across one when travelling, buying the tins...

Re: New Pipe Smoker With A Question? Ask an Old Fa

Lat stink takes hold pretty fast if you ask me. It will eventually go away but it also depends on how long and how much you smoked in that pipe. It's always nice to start off a new blend genre with...

Re: Too Quiet Around Here... (open thread)

Well I took one of Revsmoke's recipes and put it together last night. I did make a substitution however. I mixed 5 parts of Gawith's Best Brown Flake (fully rubbed out) to 3 parts of McClellands...

GL Pease Embarcadero

I popped open my tin of Embarcadero on its one year birthday. I had really wanted to try this sooner but it just got lost in the cellar. I am a fan of only two other Pease blends. Filmore and Barbary...

Re: Too Quiet Around Here... (open thread)

1 New 100g tin of Rattray's Marlin Flake

.5 - 1 ounce of Perique

If you only put .5 in the blend it is a good mild VaPer. The closer you get...

Re: Rub Out the Flakes?

1)"rubbing out" means to rub the flakes so that they fall apart into smaller strands of tobacco. This is usually done by placing the flake in the palm of your hand and then rubbing the other palm of...
