Re: What's your favorite IPA?

I tried some of the Dreadnaught at the Great American Beer Festival this year. It was quite enjoyable.

Personally, I always find myself going back to Dogfish 60 minute. I just love that beer!

Re: A couple of Smoking Nazi stories

Wow! Until I read that Boston.com article I was completely unaware that my town had banned cigarette sales in pharmacies.

Re: What beers are you enjoying?

It's Winter Lager time now. Unless you happen upon some by sheer luck you'll have to wait until next September to get your hands on some more.

I had a bottle recently. I wasn't wowed by it. ...

Re: Pumpkin Ales

That's a good amount of pumpkin. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled to see if it made it out to this coast.

Pumpkin Ales

One of the things I like best about fall is drinking some yummy Pumpkin Ales! It's the only thing that makes putting up with all the annoying "leaf peepers" remotely bearable.

I've tried a number...

Re: Sam Adams to sell beer at Boston Brewery

Clearly you've never lived in Massachusetts before. Our laws especially those surrounding alcohol are extremely puritanical and out dated. It wasn't too long ago liquor stores couldn't be open on...

Sam Adams to sell beer at Boston Brewery

Came across this article in the Boston Globe a couple of days ago. Personally I think this is very cool news! The tour is a GREAT time if you've never been and now afterward you can pick up some...

Re: Homebrewers - Whats in the fermeter?

I just drank the last few bottles from my first home brew. I made a stout that I added orange and chocolate to. For the orange I used zest and for the chocolate I used cacao nibs. It was a bit...

Re: Wristwatch collectors out there?

It's clearly not the same face as pictured on the Breitling website, but if you look at the website the Super Avenger is listed as having a new face for 2009. Maybe the watch pictured is an '08?

Re: What beers are you enjoying?

Picked up two 6ers last night at the store on my way home.

Smuttynose Pumpkin Ale

I've had the 60 min before and it's one of my favorite IPA's. I've also had the 90...

Re: Does a decent light beer exist?

Can't really say what kind of calories they have but all the new Sam Adams Imperial Series beers have around 10% ABV. So, you can drink fewer of them and still get lots of alcohol content.

I'm not aware of synagogues using bread-wafers. I'm sure the joke would have been much funnier to me if I hadn't been bewildered by the bread wafers part.
