Noone has mentioned the Winter Welcome? Stout is my favorite with Taddy Porter a close 2nd. years ago you used to be able to buy the big bottles for 2.99. We would buy 12 of them and you are set.

It seems if you chill the glass then what purpose do the stones serve. They take a bit of the edge off, but so would a chilled glass. Just don't see the use. Why not get some of those plastic...

Whiskey Stones?
Anybody like these? I tried them and they just don't get my drink that cold like ice cubes. I understand why people use them, but my drink just wasn't that cold. Your thoughts.

I believe the scientific validity, but I fear there are too many variables in the common setting. Like others have stated, specific amounts of water to salt would be very helpful. And do different...

Finally decided to do this vs the salt test. Got an additional Xikar hygrometer in route, so time to get it right. I trust my beads but tired of wondering if it is accurate or not. I had ZERO luck...
