Yeah. It doesn't work for all sticks with pigtails (I get a better draw cutting El Mejor Emeralds, for example) but it just works with the Kristoffs.

Don't get me wrong, I've had some really good sushi here. It was just really cool to have it from "the source." Much more satisfying than the time I got to have authentic pizza in Italy. :r

That'd be a tie between a bunch of little hole-in-the-wall places around Tokyo. I took a couple of trips with my martial arts instructor, who had lived in Japan for over 10 years. He knew a lot a...

Re: Favorite Sushi Restaurants

I think the best sushi I've had in the States was Ginza in Boston's Chinatown. Locally, we finally got a decent sushi place a few years ago. Before that, you had to go to Albany or Vestal (an hour...

Nice review. When you smoke the next Kristoff, try biting the pigtail off. I was taught to do it this way and it usually results in a perfect draw. :tu

Re: Rant: Cigar Bums

I can honestly say that I've never had anyone try to mooch a cigar from me (except Ferdie). :r
Having said that, cigar smoking is a social activity. Cigars are best appreciated with good company....
