True but I think quality and consistency of the brand and provenance are also a factor. In any case, whether it's due to my favorite tabacconists or just plain luck I've never had mold, beetle, etc...

For boxes, I use an old wine refrigerator with extra spanish cedar and humidifiers on each shelf. It's ambient temperature but the humidity is very constant as I rarely open it. The see through door...
