What I'm worried is they take my cutter and give me a crappy one in return. I'd rather keep the one I have, clean it myself and see if it works better and just buy a xikar for my next one.

So, if you haven't noticed, Amazon offers MP3 versions of albums when you purchase a lot of physical CDs. There are some pricing discrepancies, which I am happy to exploit. Why pay 9.99 for the MP3...
