I bought some Oliva Connecticut Reserve robustos from the Devil site on a whim. They are outstanding. Very glad I bought them. Smoking one now and it's just terrific.

I agree. I smoked an 8-5-8 yesterday and it is definitely in the medium range. My memory of these was vague. A nice cigar I should reach for more often. :tu

I had a 2 year old Bell's Expedition last night. Great Russian Imperial Stout. 10.5% abc, but smooth, with notes of cocoa and plum. Excellent.

I bought some Half Acre's Daisy Cutter when I was in Illinois for thanksgiving. What a fabulous pale ale. If you think pale ales are too ordinary, you need to try this. Amazing.
