Re: Deal Extreme Experience
I buy them by the dozen. They are surprisingly reliable and typically last many months. Occasionally one will stop working, but most of the time I just lose them or give them away.

Re: Collecting Cigars Question
If you're thinking about buying some cigars in the hope that they'll increase in value, CCs are the way to go. It can happen with NCs, but IMHO, OpusX aren't the way to go, because they're released...

Re: Red Sox Nation -Check In
I think the Sox fans' reaction is more about the emotion of saying goodbye to so many from last year's team, and particularly Lester, who grew up as a player here.
But I'm inclined to agree with...

Re: MLB 2013 Thread
I was lucky enough to score some grandstand tickets. Lucky 'cause tix are hard to get, and lucky to be in the grandstand where there's some protection from the wind and the seating is so tight that...

Re: Cutter or Punch?
Yup. Almost always a cutter. Most of the cigars I've been smoking lately are too slim even to try a punch.

Herera Esteli Short Corona Gorda
I was given this cigar by a friend who asked me to review it. It's been a long time since I've reviewed a Nicaraguan-made cigar, but this one was worth it.

Re: What cigar did you smoke today V?
Liga Privada L40. I got some really nice, fairly complex flavors but had some burn issues -- had to relight twice. Seemed like it was a bit underfilled in the middle.

Re: What cigar did you smoke today V?
Viaje Late Harvest LH550 (robusto). The Late Harvest are some of the best Viajes IMHO because the strength is toned down to about medium, allowing for better balance and flavor.

Re: La Sirena sea spirit
I picked up a box of these when they were released and I'm glad I did. They get better with some age.

Re: What are you smoking for Christmas?
Not sure if I'll get to smoke on Christmas, but I'll shortly be heading over to one of my favorite haunts to light up an Anejo 55 that's got about 5 years on it.

Re: Where to find Ronson Jetlite?
Looks like Finck's is carrying them, at a bit of a markup.

Re: LHC Core
It's the same drill they've done so many times before. Wait 6 months and you'll be able to get them for a sensible price, I suspect.
