Re: My Cuban Wheel review
Smoking my third one out of the box right now, the #1 in the torpedo shape. Perfect burn and draw. Subtle, woodsy, aromatic and tasty with a nice clean finish. Rest and dry boxing might help some?

Re: Coffee
Try a taste test of frozen vs non frozen beans from the same batch, and let me know what you think. It may work okay for your palate, or it may not.

Re: Coffee
Sadly, no. After 7 to 10 days, there is noticeable degradation and a change of flavor for the worse. Nitrogen flushing can help, as can vacuum sealing, but how much it helps is limited. There...

I'm an out and proud gamer, and for me larping is the best way to get my exercise and my geek on at the same time. Whacking people with boffer swords is fun. I used to fight in the SCA (Society for...

You have to use a special pepper grinder and sprinkle it over your cigars. Be sure to post some pictures for us to enjoy. :r

Re: COFFEE: What are you drinking?
CounterCulture's El Gavilan as a pourover or press; Toscano as an espresso. The Gavilan is nice and clean, with light, pure flavors, and is excellent iced. The Toscano is a lovely sweet Snickers...

Re: Sticky cigars
Only if you quit keeping your special magazines next to the humidor. :D
Have you checked the humidor for any kind of seepage or condensation?

I'll be your cigar secretary - send your stash over here and I'll, er, inventory it for you. Yeah, that's the word I'm looking for. :D

Re: What If We Lost Pepin?
What a horrific thought. Just considering it depresses me. The loss to the industry would be extremely far-reaching.
Maybe someone could raise him as a cigar-rolling zombie.

Re: Spiders tried to eat my face.
Bah, you can't properly recreate the flavor profile of a Gurkha with a twig.
Unless you age it in moldy dirt.
Seriously, is it just me, or does anyone else taste actual earth in those...

I really miss having...
