Cigars for a good friend

He is a Lt in the US Army currently in a hot spot, I've sent him a few odds and ends, and he mentions in passing to me that he picked up a taste for cigars his last time he was home and wondered if I could pick him up a few.. obviously he has made a mistake in being vague :D Can anyone suggest some cheaper ( 2-3 dollar a stick) cigars? I don't want to try and kill him with cremosas but I'll put in some Rocky patels cohiba's and ghurkas out of my collection. but He might need a 9 month supply so I'd like to give him a decent supply without breaking the bank. Any thoughts would be great.

Lots of stuff in that range at Taboo. Rob currently has a 40% off coupon. He will also ship direct to the APO with a note saying it was sent by you.

Taboo is the way to go, especially with the 40% off; you can get 40% more cigars! Check the retailers section.

I didn't realize there was an inexpensive Padron.... I'll have to see if the B&M carries that one.

Try Benchmade, it's a sandwich cigar but it's made from clippings of San Cristobal. They're about $2.35. Plenty of Oliva G in that range or Padron Londres.

Alec Bradley Harvest selection are nice and they are cheap ( just had one today )
if he is new to cigars and likes them pretty mild, the Superiores by La Aurora are really cheap and pretty good especially for the price box of 25 for $29.99 at CI
