My Humidor App

Was bored today and searched the app store to see if any cool cigar apps were out there and I found one. May have been shared here already but it's called "My Humidor".

You can create a virtual humidor and catalog your cigars that you have in your actual humidors into this app. They have the brands and sizes preloaded so adding them is pretty simple. But the cool thing is you can pick a date when you add them and it keeps track of how long they've been aging.

It also has a pretty nice review system in it as well. I've added the cigars that I have multiples of so far and I think it's pretty cool. I do like the review feature too. Used to have a big notebook where I'd write a review after smoking a cigar and tape the band into it as well. Can't find that anymore so I think I'll start using this instead.

Well looks like I’ve forgotten how to post pics here for the 37th time. Was gonna share screenshots of the app.

The app sounds very cool, Pete...I just don't know where I'd start doing inventory! ;) :D

Not to mention knowing what I actually have would completely obliterate the joy of finding things I totally forgot about. :ss

I have found this is just not for me as I would be on the app all day. I tried this years ago but at that time I was smoking 4 cigars a day. So I had to enter a cigar 4 times a day, and then remove that cigar from inventory. then when I bought a box or 5 pack I had to enter that :fp
I think it is a great app and it might be easier now that I only smoke 2 cigars a day and with the prices now days I would be entering almost nothing:bh

I agree with you guys it’s definitely a big undertaking. I pretty much just entered my multiples and boxes. I usually buy new cigars in fivers and smoke maybe one cigar a week. So it’s not too bad for me. I’ll probably use it more to keep track of cigars I’ve smoked and what I think of them.

Ha! When you got a wife that doesn’t like the smell, little kids, and can’t golf until May, it’s tough to get much more than that in.
