I ended up with a single of these, somehow. Probably a drunk Cigar Page order. I remember wanting to try them cuz there's this dude on YouTube who exposes vendors of fake Cuban cigars, and he said they're one of the only NCs he smokes. Since we all know what type of snobby, uppity, judgemental, pinky extended while they smoke mfs CC smokers are, that's quite an endorsement.

Well constructed, nice draw, crooked burn. Starts out with a nice flavor. No harshness through the nose.

No joke, this is one of those NCs that *almost* nails that CC flavor. Like if you handed me one of these, told me it was a custom roll, and gave me some BS story about them containing half a leaf of Cuban tobacco, I'd probably believe it. Baking spice and floral are the dominant flavors. In the second half, anise on the finish. Burn gets better around halfway.

Overall, quite a nice little cigar. I'd love to try this blend in a lancero or lonsdale.

Great review Mark. I've only smoked one of these and had a similar experience.
Damn good cigar! I just bought two Don Reynaldo 70th which is a 6 1/2x48 belicoso.
I wanted to try a bigger size like you did, so I'm hoping for the best on the 70th!

So I ended up buying 2 boxes of these at different times. Piece of advice: sign up for alerts and check Cigar Page often. I scored these for like 30% off earlier this year.

GOOD LORD, what a fantastic little smoke. If you were to hand me one of these with no band, and told me that it contained Cuban tobacco, I would believe it. The depth of flavor of this cigar is something that VERY FEW NCs are able to achieve. It's something that (until recently) I've only experienced with CCs. Some people call it 'the twang'. I call it 'the thing'. And this cigar has it. To my palate, it's more of a sensation than an identifiable flavor. It's a depth to the flavor. I can't describe it with words. Smoke a Don Reynaldo and you'll get it.

OK, enough of me trying to describe something that is indescribable. :r

This is an amazing cigar. This cigar is why we get into this sh*t.

There are cigars, which are great. Then there are experiences. The Don Reynaldo is an experience.

To those who only smoke CCs: try this one. Trust me. They've almost nailed it.

Small Batch has them, but at $20/stick. :hn

CP's stock changes frequently, with certain cigars disappearing completely sometimes, then reappearing later. I think they drop ship quite a bit of stuff.

Another interesting CP question is their relationship with Cigars International. If you check the return address on your packages, they’re the same. If memory serves, CP was started by the former owner of CI.

Returning to reviews, I like the Warped Cloud Hopper, nice little corona that pops up for a good price on CP.
