I Liked Making This Humidor
I haven't had much time to post many of the new humidors lately... been busy either getting sawdusty or cleaning sawdust off.... one or the other... lol
But, this one is pretty cool, I think... Customer wanted the Alaska Flag inlaid on the lid of a dyed dark blue humidor..... so, here is my interpretation of his request. I was kind of going for the "Hubble Effect" by using Bird's Eye Maple for the main lid panel..... I think it turned out pretty good.... Thanks for looking . http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/n...psohjocstt.jpg http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/n...psvdixjqr6.jpg http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/n...psdg8ajb9k.jpg http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps1qqkciiq.jpg http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps4winnlsj.jpg |

That's one Big Dipper you got there. I declare it an Ursa Major success.

Great job man!
I have always thought of some day building desktop humidors myself. When I finally buy my own house, the workspace needed for all those cool tools and toys to woodwork will be a MUST! |
