Best spot for a cigar and drink in Vegas
 

I'm heading to Vegas in a few days to chill out and have some fun. Besides Casa Fuente, where are some good places to chill out and have a smoke and drink on the strip. Thinking afternoon spots to relax and people watch. Are the sports books still cigar friendly? I'm staying at the MGM. thanks!

Rhumbar is very nice -- an indoor/outdoor bar at the Mirage.

Had A Nice Cigar & Couple Of Drinks At Casa Fuente 2 Weeks Ago. Excellent! Look Up Michael Fuente When You Get There. Great Manager & The Girls Are Gorgeous!:D:dr

Is smoking still limited to inside the store?

At the south end of the strip, the Monte Carlo has 3 areas to smoke. I think that one is the Hit Bar (the high roller room), there is a second floor on near the main entrance, and the main lounge/bar area just inside the main door to the strip.

Last time I was at the Palazzo they still allowed cigar smoking in the inside bar near the tables.

Thanks guys! Good suggestions. Any recommendations for sports books? I remember you used to be able to sit back and watch a game (with a bet) with a good drink and cigar all over, but not sure if it's changed... Been way too long...

Ask the book when you go in. Some places allow and some don't.

Last few times I've been there(hockey), no issues smoking in the Sports Books. Though I was in Circus Circus and some other dump.... I would be VERY surprised if you couldn't smoke cigars in the SB @ any casino in Vegas.

Just returned from LV. Talk about a kid in the candy shop when hanging at Casa Fuente... Wow. Also Rhumbar is fantastic for outdoor area and I found Whiskey Downs in MGM (where we stayed) an awesome whiskey/ cigar bar right in the middle of the action anytime from 2PM, 11PM, 6AM, etc. I do remember why I love LV so much...

I'll have to check out Whiskey Downs next time I'm in Vegas...sounds like a cool place.

There's a Rhumbar in my friend's condo building in Boston and it's great bar. Awesome drinks. To think that setting and cigars??? Very nice. There's a cigar area in the Bellagio. I believe the sports betting areas you can smoke a cigar as well.
