Maple Glaze For Pork Ribs
The recipe says it’s for two racks of ribs. I made two racks and only used about 1/3 of the glaze.
I used a sweet rub (http://www.cigarasylum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=63808) on the ribs and smoked them (180-200) for 2 hours. Then, I spread glaze on them and flipped them every 20-30 minutes for another 2-2.5 hours. Yum! 1 cup maple syrup 3 T ketchup 2 T Worcestershire 1 T Dijon mustard 1 T cider vinegar 1 T horseradish ½ cup brown sugar Bring to a boil. Reduce to medium and simmer for 5 minutes. |

Nice. I've winged similar on the fly w/o the horseradish and swapping out about 1/2 the ketchup with sriracha sauce for a kick.
BTW, you can save yourself the flipping if you use vertical racks or roll the ribs up. |
Re: Maple Glaze For Pork Ribs
I flip em so I can baste both sides. I only use my vertical rack when I need to cook many racks - which isn't often.

Re: Maple Glaze For Pork Ribs
I never had a problem basting both sides when the ribs were vertical. :sh
