Full body, full strength cigars

Looking for suggestions for a few good full flavor, full strength cigars to try.
I'd look to LFD Double Ligero Maduros or Cabinet Oscuro, or Oliva V as benchmarks. Recommendations, gents?

What about Joya De Nicaragua Antano and the Dark Corojo - do they live up to their reputation, or is that just hype?

I had one of the JdN Dark Corojo that Big_Jaygee sent me and thought it was awesome. Definitely full flavored. :tu

Camacho Corojo.

Had a Cain toro a while back and remember that it gave me a good smack upside the head.

All good recommendations above. I would add the Alec Bradley Tempus, the Man O War Ruination, Man O War Puro, and the Don Pepin Blue.

Tat Avion, Partagas 1845 Black, Liga FFP. These are just a few to add, as Mac's list looks great!

Not sure why Mac left off:

Viaje WLP Dark Meat
Tat Fausto
La Duena Petit Lancero

Re: Full body, full strength cigars

Yes Dave, the Tat Fausto is really a :gary I think that the Avion is just a refined Fausto. Very similar profile

dave 11-14-2013 09:54 AM

Re: Full body, full strength cigars

Agreed, Brian. I've read they're same blend. To me, the Avion is great, but almost too smooth. I prefer the slightly more 'in-your-face' punch of the Fausto. I must admit that paying less than half for the Fausto might cloud my comparison-perception more than it should. I'm cheap and find a $4 Fausto moves me much more than a $10 Avion.

Dave...your're right. I had the La Duena Peite Lancero mis-marked as a peite robusto on the list. :bh :bh The other other two whole heartedly fit the bill. :dr :dr
