Outdoor gig tonight = I can smoke!
 

Majority of the time I can't smoke on the nights my band plays, but the outdoor venue tonight encourages cigar smoking, they even have a local roller selling cigars. So one during load in & sound check, and another during load out. :banger

Gonna bring a couple from my unspeakable stash to gift to the venue owner for supporting us this year.

What kind of music does your band play? Where is the venue? Do let us know how it goes and which sticks you chose to gift to the owner. Sounds like a lot of fun. Not too much beats good live music and few great drinks and cigars!

Well this was a first...rained out! Thunderstorm blows in and dumps rain on us as we were getting ready to sound check, so we had to scramble to tear down and get the gear inside...then as we are waiting for things to dry out (radar showed we were in the clear), the wind gets crazy and the area loses power. By 6:30pm we finally had to call it...show cancelled.

So now I will have my smoke at home on the porch...not nearly as cool/fun...but relaxing nonetheless.

Don't even think you were the only one to pop out that quip tonight :D

We had lots of clever (and bored) people sitting around waiting out the weather...and the beer was still flowing. We pass out those light-up devil horns at our shows for people to wear, and the wine and beer server girls were having fun with them :D
