Here I go. I have been here since the beginning. I haven't been as active as I used to be. I have been throught what some would call some tough times in the last few years. I am a musician (not professional) so I see a lot of things through music. My only sibling (younger brother) died on 12-28-2011 and not long after I heard this song and it somehow hit me like a ton of bricks. Don't know why but it did.

that was something that hit me hard. I don't know quite how to explain it to anyone who doesn't play music so i wont try cause sometimes I cant' hardly understand it myself.

My Mama died on November 2nd 2012. I was there that day, and at the moment of her death, I and my dad had stepped away for a moment to call for the hospice nurse to come, and my wife held her hand as Jesus ushered her into Glory. This song was something that i stumbled upon a week or two later.

I guess I lied. Here is a studio cut of the only song I have ever written that I feel was worth a crap. I wrote this one the morning my Papa died in 1994. it took me literally 15 minutes to write it, so I know that God helped me do it.

Greg, you and I have talked on different occassions throughout the year and I know it's been a rough one on you.
