Rest In Peace Huell Howser

Not sure how popular his show "California's Gold" is outside Cali but I really enjoyed his homey approach to traveling around our state.

That's a shame. I enjoyed his show too. Even met him once when he was on location doing a shoot. We'll miss you Huell.

PBS or any other independent TV station in California or outside is not going to be the same with Huell:sad

Enjoyed both of his shows "Visiting" and "California' Gold" over the years, and I hope we see the PBS affiliates at least put on some marathon shows soon.

RIP Huell...

I liked the way somebody would, "this is where xxxxxx happened in 1942", and Huell would say, "so you're saying in 1942 xxxxxxx happend right here".

Local artist (The guy who made the gate in the background) crafted a flower holder for the flowers that kept blowing away. You'll be missed neighbor!
