Scored a SMOKIN' deal on a Free-Fall auction last week. Get the inevitable email that shipping has been delayed by Sandy.

No worries.

Wait a couple days. Get an email that my shipment was to be held an additional day, no reason given. Ask the cust. serv. person if she could PLEASE do what she could to get my shipment out that day instead of waiting. Gave her the reasons. She says she'll do what she can. 2 days later, I get some bullsh!t email from CBid telling me my shipment has been held for "credit card" reasons.

I bought something from them 30 days ago and NOTHING has changed with my card info. Friggin' SMFR's lied to me. Made up some sh!t as an excuse to cover their asses for not shipping my sticks.

Not the end of the world as far as problems go but it's the point. I've been a customer of CBid since 1998. Why lie?

Ive been having issues with them too, recently some of my winnings were "back ordered," not sure how that can happen on an auction.

There very well could still be processing issues due to sandy also. I have had a few small issues over the last year but all were resolved.

Could have been a mix up with the automated e-mail. Give 'em a ring tomorrow when their phone lines are up. If you've been a customer for this long, I highly doubt they'd defecate upon you -- Positive they'll rectify it. Give 'em the old "I don't see how I can continue using this service if this keeps happening."

Never had a problem with them but I should have a large package coming from them by the end of the week and now I'm nervous....HA!:eek:

Well, apparently all is not so doomy and gloomy in Pennsylvania as bob and others may think. A very nice lady named Shauna took the time out of her busy day to call me at home to tell apologize and say they were gonna send out my shipment 2nd day so it'll get here in time for EPIC. So, I thanked her profusely and all is well. :banger :tu
