Help! Internal Dimensions of WC-28S needed!
The topic says it all! Please, anyone with a Whynter 28 Bottle Fridge, I need the Internal Dimensions for a Waxing Moon project. So, anyone with that Wine Fridge, please if you would measure the inside's length, width, and height for myself and Ed. I won't be recieving my fridge for another month, otherwise I'd do it myself -- Please brothers and sisters!
The fridge: http://www.whynter.com/productdetail...ne_coolers/327 Thank you, kcK |

I think if you call 866-WHYNTER they can give you exact specs if someone here doesn't have a tape measure handy.

I tried that, and sent an e-mail. The phone number doesn't work, and the e-mail is possibly unmanned. Thanks for the advice though, it is appreciated!
I also grabbed the owners manual, and it only mentions the outside dimensions. |

Yes Andy, that is the one. But those are the outside dimensions, most places don't think you'd ever need to know the inside dimensions :-p

Re: Help! Internal Dimensions of WC-28S needed!
I've e-mailed him. This isn't for a wineador. The fridge is meerly a housing unit, hence my need for the dimensions. Thanks for the responses. Closest I've got was 14"x13"x24 1/2" -- But I don't know if the Metal Slats for the shelves encroach upon the 14". If so, curious if that makes it like 13x13x24 1/2.. Any helps appreciated!

Re: Help! Internal Dimensions of WC-28S needed!
Jarrett, just so you know, these winadors usually taper to the back, the back interior being skinnier than the front interior. Why, I don't know. I've just found that to be the case in every one I've worked with, and I've worked with a lot of them. If you're leaving any part of the interior, that's important.
If you find help, make sure they get very good dimensions of the width at the front of the drawer glides and back of the glides. The height between the glides, too. It's very hard, bordering on impossible to build for someone without the unit on hand. I wouldn't even take a stab at it. You might be better served to wait until it arrives, even if it costs time. Granted, I'm guessing on what you're doing. My post might not matter at all. :) |

The purpose of these measurements is important. If it's to estimate material needed and cost, very rough measurements, even the exterior, should be OK. If they're needed to actually build something, I would think the craftsperson should make the measurements themselves. |
Re: Help! Internal Dimensions of WC-28S needed!
By no means is the project going to snuggly fit in there. The fridge is only going to be a house for the box in the summer months when it gets 120 degrees out here in the desert. By all accounts though, 12.5x12.5 should be fine.
Also, Whynter e-mailed me and gave me the dimensions of:*26.5"H x 15.5" W x 18.5"D ... They are going to give me "exact" measurements in the near future. |
Re: Help! Internal Dimensions of WC-28S needed!
Ok I feel REALLY F N STUPID right now but I actually own the one in question. So shoot me a pm or email with the exact measurements you are wanting and I will try and get them too you asap...sorry bro, should have been able to do this earlier. I bought the thing on ebay and set it up to my liking and really never looked at the brand and model...god I feel stupid about now.

Won't let me edit, so sorry for double posting: Forrest reponded saying he doesn't have the exact dimensions.. But he has the shelves for sale. I appreciated his response nonetheless..
