Pepperoni Kabobs....May cause happiness and heart attack....
My wife likes to shop at the warehouse (bulk) places as "the deals are so good", Last adventure of hers resulted is a hefty sack size bag of sliced pepperoni just as you would find on pizza. When she buys this stuff it is with no plan or project in mind....that's where I come in. I have to figure out what to do with the 600 pounds of food she brings home....
While grilling some pork loin last night I skewed up said peperoni slices on some bamboo, tossed them on the briquettes until hot and the edges were a bit crispy and...Viola! stupid simple and a huge hit! I suppose a person could add some veggies or other low guilt items to the Kabobs but I literately used 100% pepperoni and loved it, I gotta go now my arm is numb and chest is hurting. |

This gives me some good ideas such as:
Italian seasoned chicken with the pepperoni on a skewer and then grilled ... when done slap them on some flat bread with some mozzarella or provolone and sauce .. Brat's alternated with pepperoni for appetizers with tailgating ... This is going to require some planning and maybe a trip to COSTCO :) |

if you need an even less heathy (read better) way to enjoy mass amounts of sliced pepperoni, i used to pan fry them with a little oil, then sprinkle with crushed red pepper or any other spice you enjoy. pepperoni chips :tu
