I did when I first started smoking cigars. It has a unique carribean flavor to it; I would definitely describe it having a tropical flalvor.

Are they all blotchy or is something wrong with the one pictured? Looks strange. Are they infused or something?

That is one ugly looking cigar.

It looks like a blotchy barber pole. I'm also wondering what "tropical" flavor means in a cigar.

I doubt the looks of it deters from the flavour.

Smitty- Can't exactly remember the flavors as it's been a while since I've smoked one. However, it reminded me of a hint of fruit punch. It's definitely a infused stick.

Rob- Tropical generally is associated with fruit. Have you ever had a tropical punch? That's what I mean when I say tropical.

Ah, thanks for the clarification, that definitely sounds unique.

Got one of these when I was in the Keys for my wedding. My wife grabbed one because the shop owner suggested it for her. As I remember it actually had a nice flavor, and smooth.
And if I remember, it wasn't infused the wrapper was aged in. I forget how they described it to me, but Ido remember sitting by the firepit and having a couple puffs of it and thinking it was a good smoke.

Hmm.. maybe they just started infusing them then?

Tried a couple a while back, not a bad smoke for the price. I would have no problem smoking one again in the future. don't remember any fruity flavor maybe a light sweetness, but no where near the level of some of the infused sweet cigars.

I guess I didn't remember correctly. Either way, it was a good cigar. I never said I had a good memory!! :D

Re: Rum Runner cigars?

Well I see how you may not remember correctly! It doesn't have the infused taste that the other 99.9% of them do. It's a solid cigar for under $3!

Agreed. I know that one of the ones that we got that day was "flavored" but not infused. But the Rum Runner is definately not what I would call a typical infused cigar.
Actually, that does remind me, I do have to get a few more.
