Oliva Serie 'G' ?

I was at my nearest B&M today and I picked up a Oliva Serie 'G' toro. Something struck me as odd, it isn't box pressed. The entire box seemed to be rounded and unlike other Serie 'G' I've seen. Next to the toros was a box of Serie 'G' maduro churchills and they were all box pressed. Just wondering if it is normal for a box or two to come out of the factory non-box pressed?

Those are the Cameroon wrapped I believe?

EDIT: Looking at them online it looks as if they also have non-box pressed toros.

Not all of them are box pressed. Funnily enough, I have had 2 G's and both were round.

I'm pretty sure only the Special G and Toro are not box pressed.

There is also the Tubo that is not box pressed. I think that all of the maduros except for the Special G are box pressed.

The Serie G line has a few cigars that are round. They are:
Special G
Toro
Toro Tubo
Double Robusto
Redondo (now discontinued)

I burned this one today and I liked it a lot. I will have to get some more of these and keep them on hand.

They kind of burn like a fuse but still a decent cigar for the price. $2.84 a stick is a good deal.

Solid stick. Although a friend of mine once made some tobacco infused ice-cream using an Oliva G, and it was so horrible I still can't bring myself to smoke another G...

That just sounds disgusting. Why on earth would anyone even attempt that? :pu

I bought a Toro one day because it was one of the only two cigars that this store was selling, ended up buying a box of them not too long after I smoked it.

Believe it or not, there was a recipe in one of the lesser known cigar mags out there. I think it called for simmering the cigar for 10 minutes in the milk and cream, but he figured, hey, if 10 minutes is good, then an hour must be great....Not so much....Reminded me of my college days being drunk and accidentally swallowing a pinch of Skoal once.

Sorry for the threadjack!
