I dont have any hands on experience I have seen them before used in pictures and also at a couple local cigar shops walk in humidors. :rolleyes:

Just thought someone may need one and it looks like Tom got one and maybe Flyn so that's my only reason for posting.... was to maybe help out another brother.

I have an older version of this (also sunbeam). They do great in the winter time to off-set the humidity loss resulting from my gas heater use. I'd think they would need some way to tie into a humidity monitor/cut-off switch for use in a humidor. But maybe something a a handyman could work up from off-the-shelve parts!

This one does not appear to be part of the "special", but it does have a built-in humistat that would make it very usable for a small room humidor! And a good water filter system for cleaner mist.

I don't know how this price stacks up against ones designed specifically for humidors, but seems like a very good price even without the discount!
