Ash tray help
My wife supports my cigar smoking and trys to show it when she can. She recently bought me this ash tray at a local antique store. They told her it was from the late 20's. It is about 6" across and it looks like pearl inlay of oriental farming activities around the outside. There are no markings on the bottem and as you can see it has been used heavily. I now use it daily. Any imformation on it would be great.
Thanks http://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/...ne55/mail3.jpg |

Re: Ash tray help
Thanks for the help. I am just hoping to give her additional props for putting out the extra effort in supporting my love for cigars.

Re: Ash tray help
Searched through 27 pages of antique ashtrays and didn't see anything similar:

Re: Ash tray help
Shoot an email to Gotham Cigar Museum and ask them. When it comes to historical cigar information that's probably your best bet.
It's a really nice piece, I wonder how difficult it would be to have restored. |
Re: Ash tray help
