My lighter issues

Ok WTF? None of my lighters will keep fuel for more than a day, and this is after bleeding them out and refilling them....what the heck am I doing wrong?

I got nice 3 flame lighter with a punch in the bottom that I absolutely love (because of the punch I won't lie)only cost $11 & two Ronson's from Mac and Eric that I really like too, but if I can't keep fuel in them what's the point?

I use Ronson fuel too, I know it's not the best, but it should be ok right?

I need help here people It's really starting to irritate me and I am not enjoying my smokes because I am in fear of losing all my fuel and have to refill.

i have a few ronsons and believe it or not they would give me issues when using the ronson fuel. i bought a bottle of xikar fuel at the b&m and refilled them and have had zero issues. this also hold true to my other lighters....

Get Vector, Xikar or Lucienne butane. Everything will go much smoother.

Fuel is the key...STOP using that Ronson fuel. Get you a couple cans of Vector (CI has them two cans for $ 12.95). :2

Very cool! Thanks one and all! Sorry for being such a noob, I know how to fill a lighter and for it to be refilled daily is recockulous.....i just knew there had to be something wrong and I love all my lighters and I shouldn't need to replaced yet.

Thanks again everyone.

If it is a noob issue, then I am guilty too. I have been having the same exact issue as you. Thanks for posting this. The answers are a big help.

BAHAHAHAHAHA I love that you used that word. I use it daily in conversation and people don't even notice it. I have a few other I will have to throw in here. :banger-(P:D:tu:=:

3 flame lighters use a lot of fuel. If you smoke alot, I could see refilling daily. After our herf at WyGuy's, my dual flame was almost empty.

I see your point, but I only smoke one a day and on the weekends MAYBE 2-3, so only smoking 1 a day I shouldn't have to refill daily right?

Here is what I bought, and I just refilled all my lighters and guess what? They didn't light, so I tried it again and now they light.....weird man, I think I need someone to show me how to do this.
