Congress of the United States, House of Representatives, Washington, DC 20515
mulvaney.house.gov

April 25, 2011

Mr. James Coley

Dear Mr. Coley,

Thank you for contacting me to express your support for H.R. 1639, the Traditional Cigar Manufacturing and Small Business Job Preservation Act of 2011. It's good to hear from you.

As you may know, Representative Bill Posey (FL-15) introduced this bill on April 15, 2011, to reduce regulatory burdens on the premium cigar industry. It is currently under consideration by the House Energy and Commerce Committee. If this bill reaches the House floor for a vote, I will certainly keep your thoughts in mind.

Thank you again for contacting me, and I hope you will continue to do so on issues of importance to you.

Sincerely,
sig
Mick Mulvaney
Member of Congress

Done. Considering my faith in Congress, it may have been a wasted few minutes, but it would not be the first time I tilted at a windmill.

Bump to bring this to light again. The IPCPR site has some good information regarding this bill.
