netbooks/mini laptops
 

I couldn't find anything on this using search. does anyone own one or have any recommendations for/against getting one? I travel quite a bit for work and this seems to be something I could use. the laptop I have now is a bit cumbersome to lug around, so I don't always carry it out of town with me. I use it in the evenings after work at the hotel to surf the web and listen to music. it's not at all for work or anything work related-just for my personal use. any advice or suggestions will help. Thanks.

I bought a Acer aspire one a couple of months ago and use it for basic internet surfing. I like it as long as I use it for pretty much basic stuff. The keyboard and the touch pad is smaller, so if you have big hands you might get annoyed. Its pretty light too.
