Re: Non Cubans
Nope, 65/65 is what most people prefer for their cigars. Cuban or non cuban 65/65 seems to be the general consensus.

Re: Non Cubans
I keep mine at 65% and have no problems. Mine smoke great!!!!

Re: Non Cubans
65 smokes way better than 70. You done good. :)

Re: Non Cubans
You can experiment a bit and see where your cigars are smoking better for you... Like for me i prefer 60% humidity.

Re: Non Cubans
70% is a preference. I prefer 60-64%. There is no set number. Anywhere between 58 and 70% is good, it just depends on where you like it.

Re: Non Cubans
I like my sticks at 68.24* and an RH of 63.71%
but that's just me. Others morons prefer an entirely different set of made up numbers. j/k, The 65% beads are a great place to start and hard to go wrong with. Good luck with your setup and hope you have many years of angst-free smoking. |
Re: Non Cubans
Mine go between 65 and 70, and I've never had a problem. I have 65% in my "smokable/premium" humi, 58-65% in my cc humi, and 70% in my cooler. The higher humidity can sometimes lead to problems with your burn, I used to drybox for 12-24 hours before smoking stuff out of my cooler. Now I just grab whatever I want to smoke and hope for the best.
