Remote hygrometer???
Anyone have experience with this hygro? I'm thinking about using it for my coolidor project so I can just put all my boxes in the igloo and put it in my closet and not have to worry about opening it up to check RH.

Re: Remote hygrometer???
Usually if you use a cooler it holds a pretty good seal. Majority of people who use coolers don't worry about the RH unless it is stored in a very high or low temp area. I would suggest a Caliber III and some beads.
BTW what's the price on that? Posted via Mobile Device |
Re: Remote hygrometer???
Jay is right -- coolers are generally very stable.
I use Oregon Scientific hygrometers for my two desktop humidors -- they are both wireless. There are several threads on this topic. Here is a post I made a while back: http://www.cigarasylum.com/vb/showpo...8&postcount=13 |
Re: Remote hygrometer???
I have no idea what brand or model that is, since you didn't provide that.
I like my Oregon Scientific. |
Re: Remote hygrometer???
Sorry guys, here is the link. BCP is offering it for $29.95, I am going to use HF 65% (1 lbs.) split in half inside the coolidor (54 qt.) that will be filled with 4 cedar trays and filled boxes for storage.
