Snow?
My two step-sons have never seen snow and they both really want to go to NewYork!!! So the wife and I plan a trip to NewYork and a side trip to the Poconos. Well the snow got there first and Delta says we are not going.( they did offer us flights on Wednesday, but wife has to be back at work Saturday).
So we are getting in the car, heading to 95 and going north!!! Who has snow?? Just wondering how long I have to drive? The things we do for kids. |
Re: Snow?
My relatives in Anderson, SC have snow, but I don't know how much.
Have Fun! |
Re: Snow?
We got snow, but I don't think you'll have to make it this far! Good luck, sounds like a fun trip :tu

Re: Snow?
Philly got hit pretty good. It postponed the Vikings-Eagles game.

Re: Snow?
If it were me I would head straight to Asheville. They got 6 inches of so. Go to the Grove Park Inn and look out over the valleys. If you can afford it stay there as well (too rich for my blood)!!!

Time to go make some money pulling cars out of ditches!! -(P |
Re: Snow?
We just got hit hard here in Boston (15 inches). The roads are a mess in the downtown area. I know Philly got hit hard and possibly as far south as DC.

Re: Snow?
What? Who in the world wants to see snow? I hate the stuff. I'd move someplace warm, but I'm a Masshole and I'd have no friends.

Re: Snow?
Still 10-12 inches on the ground...roads are "ok", at best. Everything is closed around here. Gotta love Virginia. :r :r

Re: Snow?
3"s here in Charlotte. Roads are dry and perfect but it is supposed to warm up so there is a good chance it won't last to long. I am guessing you won't have to go much further than Virginia to see enough snow to satisfy. Just spoke to a couple clients in NY this morning and they got 14 inches from this storm. If I were still living there I probably would have called it a snow day and headed to the mountains for some snowboarding. Most everyone I have spoken to so far is working from home today.
