Driving Route Help
 

My time on the southern border has finally come to an end and on Wednesday morning I start my drive to Washington State from Texas.

I heard the West is getting pounded with bad weather and I was hoping those of you that live out west would be able to tell me what areas to avoid.

My dad is going with me and really wants to see his brother in Lewiston Idaho. Any advice on which ways to go from Texas would be appreciated.

Check the mountain passes and choose your options based on those. I know that from California through Oregon up to Washington that I5 is supposed to be open... Although there may be some snow tomorrow.

Good luck luck with the drive! If you decide to stop in Portland you can stay at the Shilo in and visit us in the cigar bar upstairs :D

I cannot help you much, but that is going to be one BEAUTIFUL drive. Take lots of pics.
