How do you view the forums?
 

I just had a question to ask everybody. I was wondering how you view the forums and look for new posts. Do you go through each separate forum/sub-forum that you're interested in (say Cigar Discussion, Banter, WTS/T, and General Discussion) or do you just click on the Today's Posts link so you see every post made on this board in chronological order?

I personally view the Today's Posts so I can see all new topics, because I just don't want to miss anything on the boards from Cigar Discussion to silly Joke threads.

The reason I'm curious is because I'm wondering if people might be missing threads for weeks at a time because they only infrequently visit a certain sub-forum. I've rarely seen cross-forum promotion of a thread and I guess always assumed that most everybody viewed the forums by the Today's Posts link.

I only view New Posts. Didnt see that option. :td

I go "My Replies" first, then "Today's Posts"

I use today's posts all the time. Occasionally I check my topics and my replies.

:tpd: I'll add to that that I'm on everyday so today's posts to me are the new posts. After I've gone thru today's I'll hit the sub forums just in case one skipped away. New inmate processing and then bombs. Just refresh today's posts after that.

I go forum by forum for the most part.

Wow, I ask this question and didn't even add the New Posts...silly me. Mods if you see this can you add it? If not, guys just select other for New Posts.

Sometimes I use the Advanced Search Funtion when looking for a particular topic such as "Sklee Banter" but that's just me. ;):su:2:=::tpd:

I used to bookmark threads but My Replies works just as well

First thing in the morning I go go through each forum. After than I use the "New Posts" search and use that. Did not see "New Posts" as an option in your poll, so I voted other.

I soley look at the BABOTL banter thread. That's pretty much it.
