New Family Member
 

Just found out I have adopted a puppy. She was found within a litter of 11. Not sure of the details but mom was not alive when they were found. Best guess is age of 5 weeks. 6 of the pups have found homes, through a rescue. She looks like a Shepard/Boxer mix. Her name is Ash, due to the muzzle color. Will take to the vet tomorrow for a look over.

Pets are sometimes the best family members. Nothing like having someone to greet you every time you come home.

It was my girlfriend that got her. I am still at work. I don't mind at all, and she needed a good home.

Wow... small world.

One of my good friends posted on her facebook that she was at the vets in Florida with her dog when someone walked in with one of those puppies!

Told the story of the shepherd mother being hit by a car. Some of the puppies were trying to nurse as she laid dying. (very sad)

According to her (from the vet), now 9 of the 11 have been adopted out.

BadAss Larry! I adopted three myself over the last year or so. Wouldn't let her in your New mancave tho, not until she's housetrained!

Awesome name too. Cause when she's bad, she can be called Evil Ash, one of the most badass characters of all time!
