Some thoughts from the weekend
 

This could probably be in the cigar or beverage discussion but here it is.

Traveled to NC to work these past 5 days. The good thing is I was able to stop at the Tinderbox at the Southpark mall to pick up some cigars I’ve been wanting to try. A great shop if you are in the area. They have good prices on singles and better prices on boxes. Smoked an El Triunfador No. 2 last night--- 5 ½ x 52—a great looking cigar with a box press and a great draw with lots of smoke but very underwhelming..especially at around $7 or so. Kind of one dimensional. Smoked one of the CAO La Traviata 7 x 54 on the drive home tonight..a good cigar for the price, had a unique flavor that I just could not pinpoint..a good smoke. A Fuente Sun Rosado was also a good smoke..going to try the other sizes this week.

The Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA is a great beer. Nice hop balance…one of the best beers I’ve had lately…on tap and in the bottle. Not too hoppy and at 6%alcohol you can have a few and still find your cutter and matches.
