Never scoped out the shops there, but check this out.
http://maps.google.com/maps/place?hl...47457400091402 The middle aged drunk women sealed it for me. See you there! Edit. Just remembered we're in Waves this year, little too much of a drive. Still, drunk Milfs. :hm Second edit to say: Yes, I'm not above picking low hanging fruit. |

I think that shop is in Timbuktu, across from the Food Lion. It's okay, you might be better off bringing your own :2
That part of the Outer Banks is great. Of course, I'm "middle aged" myself, so having drunk women hit on me is a part of every great vacation. |

Also of note is one of the biggest gun shops I have ever been in. If you're into that sort of thing.
http://mackeyslanding.com/ On 64 near Plymouth. Edit to say: Locals say it like this: Corlloa - Kar-ah-lah or if you're muslim - Kar-Allah And Plymouth - Pli-muff (like what's in the cigar shop in Kar-allah) |

Also.
Your fellow Ohioan's Wilber and Orville came here back in 1903. Wonder if there were any middle aged floozies in the bike shop in Kar-allah? :hm |

your better off taking you own, but there is a shop down in Nags head ....can't remember the name but it's in a little strip mall on the left going south with a Radio Shack and a shoe store call Sandy Feet near Tangier outlets....could take a little drive and stop at Austins seafood and pick up dinner also. Our if you really want to have a nice dinner head on over to Wanchisse to the Wharf restaurant, very nice place, good prices, good food, friendly people...lot of locals go there
