RIP Corey Haim

Actor Corey Haim, 38, is dead after an accidental drug overdose. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Coroner confirmed that Haim, who battled substance addiction for several years, was found unresponsive in an Oakwood apartment and pronounced dead at Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center at 2:15 a.m. this morning. His mother, according to FOX station KTLA, was in the apartment at the time.

Yes, I was one of those girls that had he plastered all over my bedrooms walls when I was younger.

That's a shame - this kind of thing seems to be happening all too frequently.

Tragic...he struggled with addiction for most his young life.

I feel like a little piece of my youth was stolen, RIP.

RIP

He never stood a chance. He is another example of becoming famous too young. It has to be hard to manage all that stress and then to one day become a B rate actor. I guess he could not handle it all.

He and Corey Feldman were the "Corey's" in the 80's. They did a lot of movies together. Here is one example from the Lost Boys, he's on the right.

Lucas, The Lost Boys, License to Drive.

He and Corey Feldman were attached at the hip for most of their careers.
