Snorking and sinus infections

wondering if anyone here has had trouble with sinus infections as a result of smoking cigars? More specifically from snorking or retrohaling ?

I snork pretty much every cigar I smoke every draw and have noticed I'm getting a lot more sinus infections. I don't suffer from allergies so I believe it's Cigar related.

Recently I've cut way back on snorking and will see how that goes.

Ya gotta go easy, Scott. Snorking will definately rev up sinus infections if you're prone.
Most of the guys don't smoke when they're sick, either. Aside from not being to taste or smell anything, it'll tear ass out of the sinus.
Learn your speed and respect it. You're already on to it, and you're making adjustments, so that's great. It'll make things a lot more enjoyable for you. :tu

What do you mean by sinus infection? Are you having sinus problems? Or is there an actual infection that you have to get antibiotics and what not?

I am sure there is no correlation at all, but I actually get less sinus infections than I used to since I began smoking cigars regularly...and I snork every puff.

Twice I've had to get antibiotics. Recently I'll just not smoke for 7-10 days and It clears it up.

The thing with snorking is it comes so naturally now It's hard not to do it.

I dont know that there is a correlation, but that is a question for your allergist or doctor. I have allergies but dont get any more sinus infections since I started smoking regularly 3-4 years ago. :2

Haven't had any issues yet and I snork about 90% of puffs. Not the entire exhale, jus a tiny bit to get the flavor

Might want to give nasal rinsing a try after you're finished with a cigar, and see if that helps.

My sinuses swell up after every cigar (i snork). I started using a nasal rinse on a regular bases especially after a cigar and it has really helped

However yours seems to be rather odd. Sinus infections that would require antibiotics are usually from bacterial infections, if they are giving you amoxicillin or similar. Many people can develop allergies after a while, and other people can be sensitive to weather changes. I would talk it over with a Ear, Nose and Throat specialist.

The Neti pot is my friend. I'm very prone to sinus infections and I have terrible allergies. That Neti has been a godsend.
