Cain F

Size: 5 x 50 (Robusto)
Wrapper: Nicaragua
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua (Jalapa, Condega, Esteli)
Strength: Full Body

I don't even know where to start. This was an amazing cigar. Flavors abound from start to finish. Construction was perfect and it felt solid in my hand.

It starts off with a nice oak flavor. The smoke is thick and creamy, making me want to chew it. The flavors are constantly changing. I quickly pick up a nice leather note, then the next draw brings about a spicy pepper note.

The burn on this thing was amazing. I can't recall a more perfect burn. Moving a bit further into this smoke, I pick up some dried apricots. Again the flavors keep moving and I get a nice raisin flavor. This thing is all over the spectrum, and deliciously so !

The remainder of this smoke continues to give off the oak, leather, raisin, and spice flavors. It's almost like I can't wait for the next draw to see what the surprise will be. I am absolutely going to find some more of these.

While I did get a tiny bit light headed about half way through, nothing was really overpowering about this cigar. I can't say it was a strong cigar, and I would put it towards the high end of medium bodied. The flavors that came from this thing were really a treat. I actually found myself licking my teeth trying to get just another taste.

That was the natural wrapper and not the maduro, right?

I believe it's the natural wrapper Adam. It came as a tag along in a 5er trade for some Cain Maduro's.

I think the maduros say "maduro" on the band.

PS: Just realized this thread was about the Cain F, not the Cain. I was very dissapointed in the Cain maduro, was thinking this was about the Cain (natural) - which I have one of, but haven't smoked yet.

PPS: Based on your description of the flavors in this cigar and how you liked them, I would say give the Torano Virtuoso a try when you get a chance. I think you might like them.
