Not sure how I feel about this one. Do I dig it, or not dig it? The concept that is!

What do you guys think?

I like the concept, but I do think there is something missing from it. Perhaps the figure needs to be more flowing and less formed more like smoke, also less attached to the foot of the cigar.

Concept is awesome. There are a few cigar shops using this idea as a logo here in FL. I dig it though. :tu

Well I'll be! I was even thinking it would look good reversed from what I had....black background, white smoke. Guess I won't bother now!

In the meantime, I worked on a series earlier this year called 'Woman Smoking'

I'll post it in another thread and see what you guys think of that.

It's basically the same concept as this, but the woman is smoking, NOT 'In smoke'.

I'd prefer the silhouettes in your series to be more abstract. How large are the originals?

The color palette is nice.

The originals are 8 x 10s.

Updated art! I agree with the comments that it's kinda like BAM naked woman in the smoke.

SO, and quite frankly...they don't look that great on screen, but in person, I dig them.

Here are three new pieces!

Re: Woman in smoke ART

The hand gestures in the updated pictures does not look so natural, but woman smoke is better evolved. Not many hold a cigar vertical like that. A more horizontal view of the cigar would be more appealing to me.

I hear that, but for general composition (not really realism), this gesture worked the best.
