 First Anejo

		I smoked my first Anejo today.:dr I smoked a NO. 46.
It was well worth the burnt fingers I got from the nub.:ss Is there anything with the same flavor profile that I can get as a everyday cigar? Also, what is a good drink pairing for it? |

 Re: First Anejo

Glad you liked it! Sadly no, an Anejo is an Anejo, they're aged in old brandy(?) barrels which gives them that little extra twits. Great stick though :)
Not sure about a drink.. I like coffee though. aj |

 Re: First Anejo

I would say....not really. The Anejo is a combo blend of the Opus, Don Carlos and Hemingway lines and the wrapper is aged in cognac barrels for 6-8 months.

 Re: First Anejo

I can recommend a lighter, drier port. Good luck!

You picked the best Anejo in the line IMO.

The #46 is the only one I keep boxes of on hand and sadly there isn't anything that comes close to them in flavor profile. They are truly unique. Glad to hear that you enjoyed it though. Make sure you grab some soon as these only come out 1-2 times per year and are usually quite limited. :tu |

Don't knock it until you have tried it. |

 Re: First Anejo

I like a home made Esspreso or Iced Americano, coke is good as well. The 46 & 77 are the best of the line IMHO.:D

Rum & Coke no doubt.......Mount Gay rum from Barbados. I know, I know, don't let the name scare you!
Glad you enjoyed your smoke. |

 Re: First Anejo

77 Sharks and 50s are my favorite Anejos. As for pairing, I like Johnny Walker Scotch or soda :r (I am serious)
Enjoy the Anejo line, they are worth the msrp. |
